Information We Collect

Account Information: Name, email address, and password when you create an account.

Certification Information: Examination registration data, exam results, credential status, renewal dates, and continuing education records.

Payment Information: Billing address and payment method details processed through our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.

Talent Network Profile: Professional information you voluntarily provide including job title, industry, location, and professional summary.

Usage Data: Browser type, pages visited, time spent, and other analytics data collected through privacy-friendly analytics tools.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: administer certification examinations and maintain credential records; process membership and exam payments; operate the talent network and credential verification tool; communicate about your account, certifications, and membership; improve our services; and comply with legal obligations.

Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with: our exam proctoring partner (for exam delivery); our payment processor (for transaction processing); the public credential verification tool (name and credential status only, for verified credential holders); and as required by law.

Credential Verification

By earning an AI Skills Network certification, you consent to your name and credential status being searchable through our public verification tool. If you wish to opt out of public verification, contact us at privacy@aiskillsnetwork.org.

Data Retention

We retain certification records indefinitely as part of our obligation to credential holders and the public. Account information is retained while your account is active and for 7 years after closure. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us.
