AI Skills Network is a professional credentialing body for non-technical AI practitioners. We exist because the gap between “I use AI” and “I can be trusted with AI” needs a credible test.
Every employer is grappling with the same question: which of my people can actually be trusted to work with AI well? The answer today is mostly guesswork — anecdotes, demos, gut feel.
AISN exists to replace that guesswork with a credible signal. AIP and CAIP are psychometrically validated, scenario-based exams maintained by working practitioners. They test what matters at work, not what's easy to measure.
We're a small, focused organization. We do credentialing, a member network, and a practitioner-maintained body of knowledge — and nothing else.
Every exam item must be defensibly grounded in real professional work. We do not test trivia.
Working professionals — not academics, not vendors — define what proficient AI use looks like.
We do not certify on tools. We certify on judgment, technique, and outcomes that transfer across tools.
Our test development methodology, item-writing standards, and recertification policies are publicly documented.
The Body of Knowledge is reviewed annually. The technology moves; so does the standard.
