Candidate Agreement

Last updated: May 2026

This Candidate Agreement (“Agreement”) applies to all individuals who register for, sit for, or hold an AI Skills Network certification. By registering for an examination, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

Exam Conduct

You agree to: take the exam without assistance from any person, material, or technology not expressly permitted; comply with all instructions from the exam proctor; not record, photograph, or otherwise capture any exam content; and not share, discuss, or disclose exam content with any person at any time.

Exam Content Confidentiality

All examination content is the confidential and proprietary property of AI Skills Network LLC. You agree to maintain strict confidentiality of all exam questions, scenarios, answer options, and any other exam content you encounter. This obligation survives indefinitely regardless of whether you pass or fail the exam.

Use of Certification Marks

Upon passing an exam and while your certification remains active, you may use the corresponding credential designation (AIP or CAIP) after your name in professional contexts. You may not use the marks in any way that implies endorsement by AI Skills Network of your work product, employer, or services. Usage must comply with our Trademark Usage Guidelines.

Grounds for Revocation

AI Skills Network may suspend or revoke your certification for: violation of exam conduct rules; disclosure of confidential exam content; misrepresentation of credential status; failure to renew within the prescribed period; or conduct that brings discredit to the certification program. Revocation procedures include notice and an opportunity to respond.

Appeals

You may appeal any adverse certification decision by submitting a written appeal within 30 days of the decision. Appeals are reviewed by AI Skills Network and a final decision is provided within 60 days. The appeals process is described in our Exam Policies.
